French Broad River Rafting
The French Broad River is a beautiful, free flowing river that will delight rafters of all ages. Water volume is seasonal; the spring thaw brings big waves, while the summer months provide more of a scenic float trip through the Pisgah National Forest with lots of opportunities for swimming and playing. The French Broad has a little something for everyone. The first timers can choose the wide 4 ½ mile Class 11-III section of the river and the more adventurous can opt for the all day 8 ½ mile paddle with a renowned Class IV rapid at the end. And for the child in everyone, don’t miss out on Jump Rock!
French Broad Express Trip
The five-mile Express trip through the Pisgah National Forest offers wide, open channels reassuring to first-timers, as well as challenging routes for the adventurous. You also have the option of swimming during some of the downtime between rapids.
French Broad 5-Mile with Lunch
The five-mile half day trip through class II and III rapids is perfect for family fun rafting and first-timers. You will also enjoy a deli-style lunch served along the river.
French Broad 9-Mile with Lunch
This nine-mile trip includes lunch and an added adventure class IV rapid that you would not encounter on the express trip. After spending a few enjoyable hours on the water you will run the finale adventure class rapid called Frank Bell’s, which is one of the most talked about rapids in the Southeast.
